Welcome to Sweetie's Cakery, award-winning cake artist and baker, providing custom created wedding and celebration cakes to customers across the South West. Based in Westbury, Wiltshire, we are right on the Wiltshire/Somerset border, supplying primarily to Westbury, Trowbridge, Frome, Warminster, Bradford-on-Avon and Melksham. With a talented multi award winning (Cake International London, The BIG Cake Show Exeter, Wedding Industry Experts) baker and sugar artist at the helm, the cakes produced are detailed, contemporary and the perfect centrepiece for your celebration.

About Us
A word from our owner...
Sweetie's Cakery was set up after some positive feedback from cakes I'd created for my sons. I was a stay-at-home mum and found myself craving a more creative profession than my previous years in the recruitment industry. Cake decorating and baking provided me with this artistic outlet and proved a fantastic alternative to the corporate lifestyle.
Other than a couple of hours of evening classes run by my local sugarcraft shop, I am self taught. It's required varying amounts of trial and error for all the different skills. Some flowers, for example, particularly test your patience! It can sometimes be monotonous but the culmination of hard graft, sore eyes and numb fingers gives a warm feeling of accomplishment. When you receive a 'WOW' from your customer, that tops the cherry on the cake, so to speak!
As a business, Sweetie's Cakery provides custom designed and detailed wedding and celebration cakes to customers across the whole of the South West. We cater for dietary specific requirements including gluten, sugar, dairy, nut and egg-free.
We are registered and certified Level 2 Food Hygiene with a 5 star food safety rating from Wiltshire Council.
Sweetie's Cakery has also won several awards including a Merit at Cake International, London in 2013; local and regional awards from Wedding Industry Experts in 2013; and Second Place at The BIG Cake Show, Exeter in 2015, as well as having her cakes used in filming for ITV detective series 'McDonald & Dodds'.
